This Saturday night at BIOPHILIA the nature series Planet Earth will be set to music by live DJs, while a herd of sweaty humans (in homemade animal masks & face paint) bring their best booty bounce to the dance floor at the West Bank Social Center.

Tonight: Episode 1 - “From Pole to Pole”
- Emperor penguins endure four months of darkness
- Three million caribou hunted by wolves
- New Guinea’s birds of paradise
- African hunting dogs in pursuit of impala
- Migrating elephants in Africa
- A wild dog hunt
- And you, getting the f**k down at the WBSC

Bring along an animal mask, make your own at our DIY mask station, or get your face painted by professional face painter Cara Ann Krippner. Mask making starts at 10PM. DJs Max Balhorn & DJ Free NRG Drink spin from 11 to LATE. Space is limited - apologies in advance if we are full when you arrive (we suggest showing up early… and RSVP on Facebook!).

A $5 donation gets you in plus supplies for mask making.

Inspiration for the set we’ll be building for this Saturday’s BIOPHILIA dancing party. Feeling crafty? Here’s what we’ll be up to:

Hanging sheets and projectors
Crafting and installing a flock of migrating paper birds across the ceiling
Making cardboard animals, trees, & foliage
Brainstorming some clever lighting for the space
Anything else!?

Stop by the WBSC on Friday night to help out! (Libations provided.) And of course, RSVP for BIOPHILIA this Saturday. More details to come.
